Para aclarar. Cocino. Mucho.<\/p>\n<p>Cuando ten\u00eda 23 a\u00f1os y me sal\u00ed de la casa maternal apenas y pod\u00eda cocinar huevos. En serio. Nunca lo tuve que hacer y simplemente no sucedi\u00f3. Era un desastre. Y lentamente al combinar mi amor por la comida y por la comida saludable, he aprendido de la manera dura, quemando por el camino.<\/p>\n<p>Algo m\u00e1s sucedi\u00f3 por ah\u00ed. Amaba cocinar para mi, para mimarme (comiendo directamente del sart\u00e9n o la olla, como adulta joven) y para cuidarme. Cuando me arrejunt\u00e9 con el amor de mi vida el cocinar adquiri\u00f3 otro nivel. No solamente tendr\u00eda menos sobras (\u00a1amo las sobras! \u00a1viva la comida para el d\u00eda siguiente!) Sino que alguien m\u00e1s estar\u00eda disfrutando lo que hice. La \u00faltima pieza del rompecabezas fue mi embarazo. S\u00e9 que muchas mujeres tienen antojos y otras hacen hogar. MI cuerpo combin\u00f3 ambos en una sola cosa :\u00a1cocinar! Mis antojos (adem\u00e1s de reaparecer a mi ser carn\u00edvoro el momento en el que la drag\u00f3n comenz\u00f3 a crecer) eran mirar recetas mientras mi boca se hac\u00eda agua. Ten\u00eda. Que. Cocinar.<\/p>\n<p>Acababa de obtener el libro <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Plenty-More-Vibrant-Vegetable-Ottolenghi\/dp\/1607746212\">Plenty More<\/a>, un libro alocadamente delicioso de recetas del chef israel\u00ed Ottolenghi. Mientras que mi cerebro embarazado no pod\u00eda manejar mi trabajo acad\u00e9mico, me zambull\u00ed dentro de \u00e9l. Sus recetas piden aproximadamente 15 ingredientes cada una. En serio. Es una locura. Y vale la pena. Miraba recetas, escog\u00eda tres o cuatro semanalmente, apuntaba los ingredientes e iba al mercado a comprar para cocinar intensamente. Basta decir que tanto mi esposo como yo comimos muy bien durante mi embarazo.<\/p>\n<p>La parte de hacer hogar tambi\u00e9n fue el cocinar en grandes porciones y congelar para d\u00edas lluviosos, o m\u00e1s bien para noches sin dormir.<\/p>\n<p>As\u00ed que sigo cocinando, mucho. Algunas semanas m\u00e1s y otras menos.<\/p>\n<p>Amo las recetas. Me encanta buscar recetas. Me encnata cambiar las recetas.<\/p>\n<p>Y ah\u00ed es cuando entra el genio de mi marido que me dice que deber\u00eda de escribir posts de lo que he estado cocinando, de d\u00f3nde saqu\u00e9 las recetas y c\u00f3mo las cambi\u00e9. \u00a1As\u00ed que ah\u00ed va!<\/p>\n<p>Esto es lo que cocin\u00e9 la semana pasada:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sambols! \u2013 me fascina el <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mynewroots.org\/site\/2016\/05\/sensational-sweet-and-spicy-sambols\/\"> blog de Sara Britton<\/a> y siempre encuentro algo divertido que cocinar. Esta semana escribi\u00f3 sobre su viaje a Sri Lanka e hice estos dos sambols, que realmente son condimentos. Uno son cebollas moradas caramelizadas con muchas especias tipo chai (canela, cardamomo, clavo) y el segundo es coco rehidratado con chile y ajo. \u00a1Delicias! Y la mejor parte es que le encantaron a mi beb\u00e9 de 8 meses. Ahora anda comiendo cebolla y coco sin parar. #babyledweaningwin.<\/li>\n<li>Como mam\u00e1 que amamanta tengo antojos de az\u00facar de locura. Como ser humano saludable que no quiere volver a subir de peso necesito saber qu\u00e9 es lo que estoy comiendo. Ergo, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mynewroots.org\/site\/2008\/02\/eat-your-heart-out-2\/\">horneo estas galletas.<\/a> Galletas deliciosas y saludables. Del miso blog que la receta anterior. <strong>Alteraci\u00f3n:<\/strong> a\u00f1ado canela porque, pues, nunca es demasiada la canela. No ten\u00eda sucanat a la mano as\u00ed que us\u00e9 az\u00facar de coco (que es m\u00e1s bajo glic\u00e9micamente). tambi\u00e9n dupliqu\u00e9 la receta porque me encanta duplicar las recetas.<\/li>\n<li>Continuando con los antojos de az\u00facar. Tambi\u00e9n muchas veces no tengo tiempo para hacerme de comer, o comer. Simplemente no sucede. Pero como mam\u00e1 me da mucha hambre y si no como me siento mal. Tengo distintos snacks que mantengo a la mano y despu\u00e9s los comparto, pero esta semana hice algo delicioso. \u00a1 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mydarlinglemonthyme.com\/2014\/07\/raw-chocolate-fudge-with-cacao-nibs-sea.html\">fudge<\/a>saludable! Se hace con tahini, as\u00ed que viva el calcio para hacer m\u00e1s leche. <strong>Alteraci\u00f3n: <\/strong>no ten\u00eda suficiente tahini en la casa as\u00ed que a\u00f1adi crema de almendra que hab\u00eda hecho antes y sali\u00f3 delicioso!<\/li>\n<li>Como parte de mis antojos de #mam\u00e1nueva he estado olisqueando para un buen pan oscuro de centeno. Lo busqu\u00e9 y busqu\u00e9 en panader\u00edas y no lo encontr\u00e9. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.daringgourmet.com\/2016\/01\/28\/easy-danish-rye-bread-rugbrod\/\">\u00a1As\u00ed que hice el m\u00edo!<\/a> Y no hay mejor cena de domingo por la noche que s\u00e1ndwiches abiertos. <strong>Alteraci\u00f3n: <\/strong>mi horno apesta. El calor es muy irregular y necesitas adivinar cu\u00e1nto tiempo dejar las cosas dentro. La receta pide 90 minutos, yo dej\u00e9 mi pan m\u00e1s de dos horas y le hubiera ca\u00eddo bien otros 20 minutos. Tambi\u00e9n prepar\u00e9 una ensalada de kale que <strong>alter\u00e9<\/strong> de <a href=\"http:\/\/www.epicurious.com\/recipes\/food\/views\/kale-salad-with-dates-parmesan-and-almonds-51137020\">esta<\/a>. Simplemente no a\u00f1ad\u00ed d\u00e1tiles ni queso y le puse cebolla morada y pepinos. \u00a1Y vinagre de manzana!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a1Ah\u00ed lo tienen!
